We're looking for a friendly and proactive Inside Sales Representative to join our fun and casual team at 49th Freight! As part of our Freight Brokerage, you'll play a crucial role in connecting clients with reliable carriers, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Reach out to potential and existing customers to discuss their shipping needs.
- Provide quotes and negotiate rates with carriers to secure the best deals for our clients.
- Handle documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Track shipments and keep clients informed about their cargo's status.
- Generate new business by soliciting referrals and reaching out to past customers.
- Maintain accurate records and update our software system with shipment details.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation details with carriers and clients.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
